We code for web and mobile in nodejs, python, java and objective-c. If you don't code in those languages, don't worry. Good engineers pick up languages quickly and we understand that. We put more emphasis on people with good problem solving abilities and solid computer science background.

What we're looking for: 

• Problem solver with a "can do" attitude. 
• Bachelor Degree (S1) from a reputable university. Talented high schooler don't worry, if you have solid background in CS we'll hire you too.  
• Solid Computer Science background. You know algorithm, data structure, OS & Networking like you know how to spell ABC. 
• Experience with dev and ops technologies such as NodeJS, Javascript, Python, Ansible, LESS, MongoDb, HTML5 and Bootstrap is a plus.  
• Experience with AI, Data Mining and NLP is a plus.  
• Experience in coding competition and especially winning one is a plus.  
• Smart & driven to work in a fast-growing startup that will change people life. 
• Team player: this is especially important in a small company, where you may be working with everyone from marketing to client services. 
• Must understand English. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• You will be designing and implementing code for the entire cermati stack! We are a startup and so we're looking for generalist who can write code (or learn quickly) from backend to frontend 
• You will be expected to understand algorithm, big O notation and the run time efficiency of your code.  
• You will be responsible for operations (code deployment) as well.
• You will do code review, write documentations, write good and readable code, write test and all other things that software engineer is expected to do.  
• Be ready for learning a lot of things and wearing many hats.
